It all began as an Italian Chain importer in Hong Kong by my late grandfather in his early 40th in 1940.

His one and only son Robert Siah 1937-2001 moved to Singapore when he was ten years old. He started trading silver chains made in Singapore and exported to Malaysia and Hong Kong in the mid-60th. In 1980 he took over a jewelry shop (Beauty Goldsmiths and Jewelry) in Singapore Chinatown and expanded to 5 shops within five years.

The 3rd Generation of SIAH started manufacturing jewelry in Singapore and exported it worldwide in 1986.

In 1993, Jason Siah set up the first overseas manufacturing plant in Bangkok, Thailand. Beauty Siah International(BSI). He took over the company in 1995, Beauty Siah International (HK) was set up due to its fast expansion as a fine jewelry manufacturer.

The year 2000 became very competitive as China's low-cost production had taken over competitors in the South East Asia region. Supplying large chain retailers and large wholesalers started to be very tough. Price and buyer policies always come unfavorable to factories like us.
